Kudur emerged from a shared love of Turkish Pop, exploring the intersections of music, culture, and politics through House, Pop, and live performances. The collective’s events began in 2021 at Gelegenheiten and later expanded to Kantine am Berghain, hosting events that made guests feel at home, alongside listening shows, song pop quizzes, and radio broadcasts on stations including Refuge Worldwide and NTS.

As a volunteer-led, non-profit collective, Kudur created a safe and inclusive space for queer, trans, and BIPoC communities and their allies. Through performances, art, and music curation, the collective amplified marginalized voices, fostered connection, and combined celebration with collective care, raising funds in support of community initiatives. Supported by Music Board Berlin, Kudur highlighted emerging trans/queer BIPoC artists while cultivating an empowering community environment.
